This topic was brought to my attention by a story "Evangeline" by Longfellow in a book called "My Book of Stories from The Poets". I bought this book for the fair price of CA$20. You can download this book for free from the Library of Congress. This book is likely in the public domain because it was published in New York by Funk & Wagnalls company in 1920 according to the LOC.
