People have been asking what I've been up to. I've been reading, drumming, walking, and taking photos mostly. I've done a tiny bit of shopping, a bunch of eating, and a bit of sewing. I've also been sleeping irregularly, but that's a different blog post.

This one is going to be a photo blog. It's going to describe a few things using photos and descriptions that are in the Gallery. The photos are in reverse chronological order, so if you want a chronological playback, start at the bottom and work upwards. I'm not sure why though.

Peña de Bernal

I went to the Peña de Bernal yesterday. It is one of the world's largest monoliths.

Bernal Fountain View

Peña de Bernal is one of the largest monoliths in the world. You can hike very high up with no gear. Where cars can no longer drive, there is a fountain and a lot of food and vendors.

Phone Charger

A phone charger in need of repair shows its POST which identifies it as a Lenovo computer. Beware plugging your phone into one of these machines, they are not your friend.

San Miguel de Allende

The rest of the photos are near the Jardin of San Miguel de Allende. The Jardin is the main attraction of the city that I have seen.

Don Quixote made of sheet metal

Don Quixote is a great character (I haven't read more than a few pages, but I like him) and this is a beautiful sculpture of him in contemplation.

Trojan Horse

At the end of the Ancha de San Antonio, there is an antique dealer with some large pieces of art in front. The horse is by far the favorite. This is the only photo of this section that is far from the Jardin.

Street in Mexico 1

A nice view of a street in Mexico at night. Yes, this is what Mexico looks like to me. I haven't been to a big city in Mexico so this may not be representative of other cities.

Jardin

People enjoy this busy but not too crowded public park in San Miguel de Allende day and night.
